Licensing & Disclosures

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This page provides important licensing information and disclosures about Journey Health Advisors and the coverage options we discuss.

Not insurance

Health care sharing programs (health shares) and Direct Primary Care memberships are not insurance and are not regulated as insurance. Membership in a health share is not a contract of insurance, and any sharing of medical expenses among members is strictly voluntary. You remain personally responsible for your own medical bills.

Independent advisory

Journey Health Advisors is an independent, insurance-company-agnostic advisory firm. Where we discuss insurance products, those are offered through appropriately licensed individuals or partners. Licensing details are available on request.

State availability

Product availability varies by state. Certain health share programs are not available in every state, and individual-market and ICHRA rules differ by location. We will confirm what applies to your specific situation.

Health share notice

NOTICE: Journey Health is not insurance or an insurance policy, nor is it offered through an insurance company. Journey Health is not a discount healthcare program. Any assistance with your medical bills from other members is entirely voluntary, and you remain personally responsible for the payment of your own medical bills. Journey Health is not subject to the regulatory requirements or consumer protections of your particular State's Insurance Code.
